Does it touch my voice, or clone it?

Never. Vorker does not record, edit, synthesise or clone your voice, and it never will as part of this work. It runs the admin around the bookings: the rate reply, the delivery email, the invoice, the buyout dates. The read stays yours, entirely.

Will it email a client without me seeing it?

No. Every rate reply, delivery email, invoice and renewal is drafted and then waits for you. You read it, edit it, reject it, or approve it. Nothing outbound moves on its own.

Can it really quote from a word count?

It works from your own rate card: your per-word or per-finished-minute rates, your take policy, your buyout terms. The reply is worked out, not guessed, and you adjust anything before it goes.

How do the buyout renewals work?

Every delivery carries its buyout terms, and Vorker tracks the dates per client. Thirty days before one ends it drafts the renewal enquiry and holds it for your approval, so the usage money stops quietly leaking.

I am a one-person studio. Is this overkill?

One-person studios get the most out of it, because there is nobody else to hand the paperwork to. Vorker is built for businesses of one to five people, not for agencies with a booking desk.

Do I have to learn a new system?

No. You type or say it, the way you would tell an agent, and it works inside your email, calendar and accounting. Rate replies and invoices arrive as ordinary emails and PDFs on your paper.
