Will it send anything to the contractor without me seeing it?
No. Every quote, invoice and email is prepared and then waits for you. You can read it, edit it, reject it, or approve it and schedule it to go out later. Nothing sensitive happens on its own.
We are three layers and no office. Is this overkill?
That is the size it is built for. When there is no office, the Friday invoicing and the retention tracking land on your evenings, and that is exactly the work Vorker takes. It is made for firms of one to ten people.
Can it keep three sites apart?
Yes. Every reported area, receipt and invoice is booked to its site, so the Friday invoices come out one per site and you can ask at any time how many metres are invoiced where.
How does the retention part work?
When a contract holds back a percentage, Vorker notes the sum and the release date per site. When the date arrives it drafts the invoice on its own and holds it for your approval, so retention money stops depending on your memory.
Do I have to learn a new system?
No. You talk to Vorker the way you would text someone in the office, and it works inside the tools you already have: your email, your calendar, your accounting. Quotes and invoices arrive as ordinary PDFs.
How long before it is useful?
Setting up takes minutes and it reads your website to learn what your company does. Most firms start with one thing, usually the Friday invoicing or receipts, and add more once they trust it.
