Will it send a quote to a customer without me seeing it?

No. Every quote, invoice, confirmation and email is prepared and then waits for you. You can read it, change any line, reject it, or approve it. Nothing reaches a customer on its own.

Can it really price a part from a STEP file?

It drafts from the drawing, your material prices and how you have quoted similar parts before, and it gets closer the more you use it. You know your machines, so treat the cycle time as a starting point you adjust. That is still far faster than starting from a blank sheet.

We are two machinists and a lathe. Is this overkill?

That is the size it is built for. In a two-person shop the quoting and invoicing land on whoever finishes last, after hours. Vorker is made for businesses of one to ten people, not for factories with a front office.

What happens with the delivery notes on the clipboard?

Photograph them and Vorker matches the supplier, books the entry with the VAT on its own line and files the image to the job. It learns how you book each supplier, so the next note from the same one is handled the same way.

How do the blanket-order call-offs work?

You tell Vorker the order and its schedule once. When a call-off window opens, the confirmation is drafted with the quantities and ship week filled in, and it waits for your approval like everything else.

Do I have to learn a new system?

No. You type or say it the way you would tell someone in the office, and Vorker works inside the tools you already have: your email, your files, your accounting. The quotes and invoices arrive as ordinary PDFs.
