Zapier connects eight thousand apps if you build the workflows. Vorker is an AI coworker that already knows how to do small business admin.
Zapier gives you pipes between more apps than anyone, including accounting connectors. Vorker gives you a coworker who does the job through those tools. Which one fits depends on how you like to work.
Choose Zapier when
You enjoy building automations and want deterministic, repeatable flows.
You need an exotic connection between two specific tools.
Someone at your business is happy owning triggers, fields and error handling.
Choose Vorker when
Nobody wants to build or babysit workflows, ever.
The work needs judgment: read the thread, decide, draft, wait for approval.
You want the quote, the booking and the chase handled, not just data moved.
A customer emails at 14:10 asking what a bathroom refit would cost. It is 21:00 and you finally sit down. What is left to do?
After Zapier
Read the email and decide what to quote: no Zap can do that part
Write the reply and the quote yourself
Your Zap may log the enquiry in a sheet, if you built one
Maintain the Zaps when a field changes or a step errors
After Vorker
Reply drafted in your mailbox, in your tone
Branded quote PDF prepared from your rates
Follow-up chase scheduled for next week
Zapier can reach nearly everything, which is exactly why its column so often reads: you build it.
email: Gmail and Outlook actions; agents can send as you.
accounting: Accounting connectors exist, including Nordic ones. You design the bookkeeping logic.
documents: Possible by assembling template and PDF steps yourself.
receipts: Buildable, with no built-in VAT intelligence.
meetings: No notetaker. It can only process transcripts other tools produce.
social: Publishing connectors exist; the workflow is yours to build.
schedules: The richest trigger ecosystem in existence.
research: Agents can browse and enrich, within per-run activity caps.
video: No video production.
approval: Approval steps exist in flows, but are not the default posture.
setup: Building is the product: triggers, field mapping, and usage meters to understand.
FAQ
Zapier also connects to my accounting system. Is that not the same?
The connector is the same idea; the competence is not. Zapier hands you raw actions like create invoice, and you design when and how they fire. Vorker already knows the workflow: it reads the receipt, prepares the entry with VAT on its own row, and holds it for your approval.
Is Vorker as reliable as a Zap?
They are different shapes of reliability. A Zap repeats one flow exactly and stops when something unexpected appears. Vorker handles the unexpected the way a coworker does: it reads, adapts, and when the action matters, asks you first.
Should we replace our Zaps with Vorker?
Not necessarily. If you have working Zaps, keep them. Vorker replaces the workflows you never built because building them was the barrier: the quoting, chasing, booking and publishing that still happens by hand.
