AfterVork on the Roof of NK September 23, 2026 On Wednesday 23 September we were on the roof of NK, the department store on Hamngatan in Stockholm, at Ascaro Padel & Social Club. Företagarna, the Swedish federation of business owners, hosted it with us. The afternoon and the evening were called AfterVork. No slide deck. The people Vorker is built for were in the room: owners, freelancers, and investors. The afternoon started at 15:00 with Vorkout Padel. Three courts above the street, an invited tournament, technique tips from Ascaro's coaches, pink Vorker caps, and a full rotation between courts. Vorkout Padel, from 15:00 to 17:30, before the evening opened. At 17:30 the terrace and the pool lounge opened, with more than 200 guests. A short welcome, a toast to Sweden's small businesses and freelancers, the launch film on the screens under the roof, then the DJ. What stayed with us were the conversations. Someone who had just had a first quote prepared, next to an investor, next to a person building their third company. People who usually build on their own, in the same place for a few hours.
